A unexpected worsening of chronic bronchitis known as an exacerbation. Signs or symptoms of the exacerbation contain coughing up extra mucus or mucus that is another shade than standard, in addition to amplified shortness of breath. Viral infections are the commonest cause of the exacerbation. Fi
